February 2, 2026—Introducing general cases in Trend Vision One. This new case type allows security operation center (SOC) analysts to create cases
without associated security events to support proactive threat hunting, emerging threat
investigations, and team collaboration. Create general cases using the UI or the public
application programming interface (API).

Manual and API-based case creation: Create general cases from any Trend Vision One app interface or via API.

Observed Attack Technique (OAT) integration: Add risk events to cases, view object fields and metadata on the Highlighted Objects tab, and perform response actions.

Enhanced search and management: Search for indicators of compromise (IOCs) within Case Management and across Trend Vision One.

Attachments and content: Attach images, emails, and other files to cases.
