Views:
Back up all policies, except suspicious objects, digital certificates, and HTTPS tunnels, configured under Policies and PAC files configured under Administration. Restore them as necessary.
Up to 10 backup files can be created.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration SERVICE DEPLOYMENTPolicy Backup & Restoration.
  2. Manage backup files.

    Add/Edit a backup file
    Click Add or select an existing backup file under Backup File Name. The Add Policy Backup File screen appears.
    Configure the following:
    • Name: Unique backup file name. No two backup files should have the same name.
    • Description: (Optional) Meaningful description to easily identify the backup file
    Click Save and Back Up.
    Delete a backup file
    Select one or several backup files and then click Delete.
    Restore from a backup file
    Select a backup file to restore and then click Restore.
    View data in table columns
    • Backup File Name: Unique name of a backup file
    • Description: Meaningful description to easily identify the backup file
    • Last Backup Date and Time: Date and time when policies and PAC files were backed up and the backup file was created.
    Sort the backup file information
    Sort the information in ascending or descending order in either of the following ways:
    • Click the title area of a column.
    • Click the up or down arrow at the right of the title area of a column.
    Search for a backup file
    Type a keyword or part of the keyword related to either column in the table in the Search text box.

    If there are many entries in the table, type some characters in the Search text box to narrow down the entries. As you type, the entries that match the characters you typed are displayed immediately. TMWS searches all cells in the table for matches.
