Remote Manager allows you to trigger Cloud Edge firmware updates for multiple customers and devices.

Important
Cloud Edge devices require special update permissions for specific firmware versions. You must configure the permission on each device before triggering Cloud Edge to update to the necessary firmware version.

For Cloud Edge devices with older versions of firmware installed, you may need to install one or more previous firmware packages before updating to a newer version. If you have any questions about firmware dependencies, contact your support representative.

Procedure

  1. Select existing Cloud Edge customers who require firmware updates.
  2. Click Cloud Edge Settings → Update Firmware Now.
    Remote Manager triggers firmware updates on Cloud Edge devices for the selected Cloud Edge customers.
