You can use the following procedure to edit target and email notification settings for multiple customers by modifying and importing a CSV file.

Procedure

  1. Go to Reports and click the count in the Target column of a customer report.
    The Reports > {Customer name} > Target Customers tab appears.
  2. Click Customer List and choose one of the following export options:
    • Export Current targets: Contains a list of the current report targets
    • Export All Applicable Customers: Contains a list of the current report targets and all customers eligible to be included as targets
  3. Open the customer list in a CSV editor.

    Remote Manager CSV files that contain non-English characters may experience encoding issues when viewed using editing software (like Excel). If any of your company names or other information contain non-English characters, you must import the CSV file using UTF-8 encoding before modifying the contents.

  4. Edit the following target settings as required.

    Add a customer to the report
    Type Add in the Action (Add/Update/Delete) column to add a target customer to the report.
    Remove a customer from the report
    Type Delete in the Action (Add/Update/Delete) column to remove a target customer from the report.
  5. To change email notification settings, type Update in the Action (Add/Update/Delete) column, and edit the following settings as required.

    Enable email notifications
    Type Y in the Enable Email Report column to allow Trend Micro Remote Manager to notify the target customer and additional recipients when the report generates.

    To notify the target customer, you must also type Y in the Mail To Email Address column.

    Type Y in the Mail To Email Address column to allow Trend Micro Remote Manager to notify the target customer when the report generates.
    Change the target customer email address
    In the Email Address column, specify the email address of the target customer.
    Add or remove additional recipients
    In the Additional Recipients column, specify the email addresses of the additional recipients.
  6. Save the file.
  7. Go to the Reports > {Customer name} > Target Customers tab.
  8. Click Customer List and click Import Customer List.
  9. Click Select File....
  10. Select the Customer List file and click Open.
    Remote Manager validates the content before allowing you to import the file.
  11. Click Import.
    Remote Manager implements the configured settings in the next generated report.
