Assigning user permissions in ConnectWise Automate

Procedure

1. In Automate Control Center, go to System → Users and Contacts → Users and double-click the user you want to assign permissions to.
   The Editing the information for {user} screen appears with General tab displayed.

   

2. Click the Permissions tab.
3. In the User Classes field, select the user class that you want to modify permissions for.
4. Click the Open User Class Manager icon ( ).
   The User Class Manager screen appears.

   

5. In the Core tab, select the following checkboxes to assign the required permissions for the selected user class.

   Permission	Select
   Clients	Read
   Computers: Show All	Access
   Contacts	Read
   Database	Access
   Scripts	Read

6. Click the Plugin tab.
7. Select the following checkboxes to assign the required permissions for the selected user class.

   Permission	Select
   Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Plug-in for ConnectWise Automate	Access
   Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Plug-in for ConnectWise Automate Remote Agent	Access

8. Click SAVE.
   The ConnectWise Automate user can access all available features of the Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Plug-in for ConnectWise Automate.
