Views:

The Logs and Reports tab lists scan results that resolved detected threats by placing the suspicious files in quarantine.

  1. Open the Sync Agent.
  2. Go to the Logs and Reports tab.
  3. To view scan logs listed by Scanning Tools, perform the following:
    1. Select Scanning Tools.
    2. Click an item from the Scanning Tool column.

      The Scanning Tool Report window appears. Review the information displayed.

    3. Click Close.
  4. To view scan logs listed by endpoints, perform the following:
    1. Select Computers.
    2. Click an item from the Computer column.

      The Scanning Tool Report window appears. Review the information displayed.

    3. Click Close.
  5. (Optional) To export logs, perform the following:
    1. Click Export Logs....
    2. Select a file format and period to export.
      • CSV: Exports logs for the specified period to a CSV file

      • DB: Exports all logs to the database format, along with any quarantined files

        The Sync Agent exports the following:

        • Scan logs

        • Sync Agent logs

        • Trend Micro Safe Lock logs

        • Quarantined files

        Note:
        • Trend Micro recommends exporting DB logs to a new empty folder.

        • Exported DB logs may be imported back into the Scanning Tool to restore quarantined files.

    3. Click Export.
  6. (Optional) To import logs and quarantined files into the Sync Agent, perform the following:
    1. Click Import Logs....
    2. Select the folder that contains the exported DB logs.
    3. Click OK.
  7. (Optional) Since a large volume of logs can accumulate over time, delete unneeded logs to improve Sync Agent performance.
    Note:

    Trend Micro recommends exporting logs first before deleting.

    1. Click Delete Logs....
    2. Select a period to delete.
    3. Click Delete.
