Trend Micro Portable Security 3 is a security solution that finds and removes threats without making changes or installing additional software on the target endpoint. Trend Micro Portable Security 3 is recommended in closed environments that do not have network access, or where installation of traditional security solutions is not possible.
Trend Micro Portable Security 3 has the following components:

Scanning Tool: The Scanning Tool is a portable antivirus security program in a USB device that finds and removes security threats from endpoints or devices without having to install an antivirus program. The Scanning Tool can be used as a standalone device, or integrated with Control Manager (via the Sync Agent) to handle updates, scan settings, and logs.

Sync Agent with Control Manager: The Sync Agent communicates with a Control Manager™ server to manage Scanning Tool devices. Control Manager uses a web-based management console to configure settings, deploy policies, view logs, and monitor the status of managed Scanning Tool devices. Before installing the Sync Agent, verify that Control Manager is already installed and working in your network.
