Global Census Service, Good File Reputation Service, and Predictive Machine Learning
Service are security services hosted by the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network.
They are necessary for the full and successful operation of the Workload Security's
Behavior Monitoring, Predictive Machine Learning, and Process Memory Scan.
The following table maps the services to features.

If you see a Census, Good File Reputation, and Predictive Machine Learning Service Disconnected alert, there are several possible causes:
Cause 1: The agent or relay-enabled agent does not have Internet access
If your agent or relay-enabled agent does no't have access to the Internet, then it
cannot reach the services.
Solutions:
- Check your firewall policies and ensure that the outbound HTTP and HTTPS ports (by default, 80 or 443) are open.
- If you are unable to open those ports, see Configure agents that have no Internet access for other solutions.
Cause 2: A proxy was enabled but not configured properly
Global Census Service, Good File Reputation Service, and Predictive Machine Learning
Service can be accessed using a proxy.
Check whether or not a proxy was enabled. If so, make sure it was configured properly:
- Open the Computer or Policy editor.
- Select Settings on the left.
- On the General tab, locate the Network Setting for Census, Good File Reputation Service, and Predictive Machine Learning section.
- If a proxy was specified, click Edit and ensure that its Proxy Protocol, Address, Port and optional User Name and Password are set to correct values.
