Typically, upgrades and routine maintenance tasks are performed without any service impact.
Periodically, a maintenance window affecting the service is required. This window allows Trend Micro to perform specific planned maintenance tasks. Trend Micro provides at least 7 days notice prior to any scheduled maintenance.

Scheduled general maintenance

There is no general maintenance currently scheduled.

Maintenance dates

Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security undergoes regular monthly system maintenance on scheduled dates. Maintenance typically lasts 7 hours for each data center region. If maintenance takes less time to complete, you are notified. Only maintenance windows involving downtime receive advance notification. Maintenance time range for data center regions is provided on the Trend Cloud One login page and RSS feed at least 7 days before each maintenance window. The Trend Cloud One Service Status contains the up-to-date information during these maintenance periods.

Impact on new and existing customers

During system maintenance, expect the following:
  • If you are a new customer, you will not be able to register a Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security account.
  • If you are an existing customer, you will not be able to log in to your account using the Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security console. In addition, the following functionality will not be available:
    • Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security agent connections.
    • Administration and API access to the Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security console.
    • Event forwarding, such as SNS and syslog.
    • Global relay service.
  • You might see error messages, such as “Offline”, “Internal software error”, and so on.
System maintenance does not affect protection provided by Trend Cloud One - Endpoint & Workload Security agents activated before the start of the maintenance period.
