After cleaning spyware/grayware, Security Agents back up spyware/grayware data. Notify an online agent to restore backed up data if you consider the data harmless. Choose the spyware/grayware data to restore based on the backup time.

Note:

Security Agent users cannot initiate spyware/grayware restore and are not notified about which backup data the agent was able to restore.

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Management.
  2. In the agent tree, open a domain and then select any agent.
    Note:

    Only one agent at a time can perform spyware/grayware restore.

  3. Click Tasks > Spyware/Grayware Restore.
  4. To view the items to restore for each data segment, click View.

    A new screen displays. Click Back to return to the previous screen.

  5. Select the data segments that you want to restore.
  6. Click Restore.

    Apex One notifies you of the restoration status. Check the spyware/grayware restore logs for a full report. See Viewing Spyware/Grayware Restore Logs for details.
