Procedure

1. Log on as root and type yast2 from the command line.
   The Setup Utility UI appears.
2. Select System → System Services (RunLevel) on the menu.
3. Select Expert Modesplx and mark the appropriate run levels.
4. To start the service automatically, choose level 3, 4, or 5. To start the service manually, do not select a level.
