ServerProtect secures your
client/server network using a three-tier architecture: the Management Console, the
Information
Server (middleware), and the Normal Server.
ServerProtect for EMC Celerra increases security using the following
components:

Data Mover (includes the VC Client) - located on the Celerra File Server

AV Server (includes ServerProtect for EMC Celerra and Celerra Event Enabler (CEE)) - located on a machine separate from the Celerra File Server
Together, these components create a powerful, centrally managed, cost-effective antivirus
security system.
The Management Console provides a user-friendly, Windows-based interface for configuring
system
components. Management Console instructions are sent to the Information Server, which
then passes
them on to the Normal Servers.
