The Signing Requests table lists the Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs) in the SMS. A CSR contains information that identifies the requestor.
To request a signed certificate with a CSR and use it in the SMS,
  1. Create a CSR.
  2. Export a CSR
  3. Send the exported CSR to a CA. The CA signs the CSR and sends back a certificate.
  4. Import the certificate.
The following table describes the fields in the Signing Requests table.
Field Description
Name Name of the certificate request.
Common Name (CN) CN stored in the CSR.
Requestor RFC822 name stored in the CSR.
Signing Certificate One of the following:
  • Check mark – The CSR has the key certificate sign bit set in the key usage extension. The "Make it a signing certificate" box is checked in the request.
  • Empty circle – The CSR does not have the key certificate sign bit set in the key usage extension. The "Make it a signing certificate" box is unchecked in the request.
Key Size (bits) Number of bits used to create the private key.
