The system log contains information about the software processes that control TippingPoint
devices including startup routines, run levels, and maintenance routines. System log
entries can provide useful troubleshooting information if you encounter problems with
your TippingPoint device.
The system log also includes event information regarding device health. If the status
indicator for the device displays an error or issue, you can view the log to locate
information on the health events. See
