Configure the SMS to enable restricted access

This service allows access to the external database to be restricted to a set of IP addresses.

In the SMS, go to Admin → Database.
On the External Database Settings panel, click Edit.
In the Edit External Database Settings wizard, select Access Restrictions.
Select Enable restricted access to enable the service. (To disable the service, clear the check box.)
Provide the following:
- Named IP Address Group – To restrict a set of IP addresses, click the arrow, and either select a Named IP Address Group or create a new one.
Click OK.
