Responder is a policy-based service in SMS that reacts to inputs to perform a set
of actions. Its reactions, and the set of actions it takes, are based on the Responder
policies that have been configured.
By default, no policies can be externally triggered. To enable external
triggering, configure the active response policy to allow an SNMP trap or web service
to
invoke the policy.
