Importing a CA certificate to the SMS certificate repository makes that CA certificate
available to the SMS and all managed devices for:
- Radius authentication (SMS and device)
- LDAP authentication (SMS)
- VPN configuration
- Remote syslog

NoteImporting CA certificates requires the
Admin X509 Certificate Management capability in your user role.

Procedure
- Go to .
- Click Import.
- Provide a unique certificate name to reference a PEM/DER certificate or a unique base name for PKCS12 certificates in the Certificate Name field.
- Browse to and open a CA certificate in the Certificate File field.
- Select the file format of the CA certificate.
- Click the Default CA Certificates tab to import the Default CA Certificates package, which contains a list of trusted
CAs from the Mozilla project.
Note
Before you can import the certificates, manually check for updates and then download the package from the TMC (). You cannot pick or choose individual CA certificates in the Default CA Certificate package. - Click OK. The certificate appears in the CA Certificates table.
