Using the ScanMail for Domino memory-based scanning feature improves scanning performance.
Memory can be allocated to ScanMail for real-time replication, email, and database
scanning, and manual and scheduled database scanning.
When scanning, detecting, and cleaning viruses, at least two SMDreal tasks are recommended
for most environments. When enabling spam scanning and filter policies, additional
SMDreal tasks are recommended.
