Creating a Policy

Procedure

1. Log on to the Mobile Security administration web console.
2. Click Policies → Policies For Groups on the menu bar.
   The Policy screen displays.
3. Click Create.
   The Create Policy screen displays.
4. Type the policy name and description in their respective fields and then click Save.
   Mobile Security creates a policy with the default settings. However, the policy is not assigned to a group. To assign the policy to a group, see Assigning or Removing Policy from a Group.
5. (Super Administrator only) If you want to use this policy as a template, click the arrow button under the Type column on the Policy screen. The group administrators can use templates created by the Super Administrator to create policies for their assigned groups.

   Note You cannot assign a template to any group. You can also convert a template to policy. However, you can only convert a template to policy if the template is not assigned to any group.
