IMSVA provides a self-contained installation that uses a
standard CentOS Linux operating system. This dedicated operating
system installs with IMSVA
to provide a turnkey solution. A separate operating system, such
as Linux, Windows, or Solaris, is not required.
Note
IMSVA uses a 64-bit
operating system. When installing a 64-bit OS on ESX/ESXi,
you need to enter the BIOS and enable VT (Virtualization
Technology).
