The Full Disk Encryption Recovery Tool is a bootable disk used to repair a device if the device is unable to boot. The latest version of the Recovery Tool is available for download from the Trend Micro Download Center:

The Recovery Tool allows users to do the following:
  • Scan and repair Full Disk Encryption issues that prevent users from logging on Windows
  • Open the Full Disk Encryption preboot if the agent is unable to access the preboot normally
  • Recover files from an encrypted disk

In previous versions of Endpoint Encryption, a Repair CD was provided along with the product. In Endpoint Encryption 5.0 Patch 4, the Repair CD was replaced with the Recovery Tool.
