Deep Discovery Inspector can use a proxy server for pattern, engine, and license updates. Other products and services may be able to use the same proxy server.
You need to enable proxy server settings on the configuration page of each product or service.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration → System Settings → Proxy.
  2. Select Use a proxy server for pattern, engine, and license updates.
  3. Specify the Server address and the Port number.
    Deep Discovery Inspector supports HTTP and HTTPS proxy servers.
  4. If the proxy server requires authentication, select Proxy server requires authentication and specify a User Name and Password.
  5. Click Test Connection to verify connection settings.
  6. Click Save.
