Connect a deployed Deep Discovery Inspector appliance to Trend Vision One using the Network Inventory app.

Network Inventory supports connecting with Deep Discovery Inspector version 5.7 Service Pack 3 or later. If your appliance is using a previous version (5.7 Service Pack 2 or prior), upgrade to the latest version to connect to Network Inventory.

Procedure

  1. If you want to use Network Analytics as a Service, disconnect from Deep Discovery Director - Network Analytics.
  2. In the Trend Vision One console, go to Network Security OperationsNetwork InventoryDeep Discovery Inspector Appliances.
  3. Click Connect Appliance.
  4. For Product, select Deployed Deep Discovery Inspector.
  5. Select 6.7 or later.
  6. Select Direct connection from the connection method list.
  7. Specify the Deep Discovery Inspector appliance IP address or FQDN.
    You can only access appliances that are part of your corporate network or that you can reach directly.
  8. Click Go.
    The Deep Discovery Inspector appliance console opens.
  9. On the Deep Discovery Inspector console, sign in with an administrator account.
  10. (Optional) Change the password.
  11. In the Registering to Trend Vision One dialog, click Continue to confirm the process.
  12. In the Trend Vision One console, go to Network Security OperationsNetwork InventoryDeep Discovery Inspector Appliances to verify the connection status.

    When Deep Discovery Inspector connects to Trend Vision One, Deep Discovery Inspector creates the Trend Vision One Administrator and Trend Vision One Viewer accounts automatically.
