You can use an SNMP network management station to monitor Deep Discovery Inspector.

Procedure

  1. Go to Administration → System Settings → SNMP.
  2. Select Listen for requests from SNMP managers.
  3. If needed, specify a System location and Administrator contact.
  4. Configure SNMP agent mode.
    • For SNMP v1/v2c:
      1. Specify the allowed community names.
      2. Specify the trusted manager server address.
    • For SNMP v3, specify a security model:
      • No authentication or privacy: Specify a user name
      • Authenticated: Specify user name and password
      • Authenticated with privacy: Specify user name, password, and a privacy passphrase.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If needed, click Export MIB file.
    The MIB file can be imported to the SNMP Management Station.
