Configure Deep Discovery Inspector appliances which connect directly to Trend Vision One to use a Service Gateway as a service source.

A Service Gateway enables connections from Trend Vision One to Deep Discovery Inspector appliances within the corporate network, providing more services.

Procedure

  1. In Trend Vision One, configure at least one Service Gateway.
  2. Ensure your service gateway has the following services installed:
    • ActiveUpdate
    • Smart Protection Services
    • Suspicious Object List synchronization

  3. Configure the connection to your Service Gateway.

    1. In the Trend Vision One console, go to Network Security OperationsNetwork InventoryDeep Discovery Inspector.
    2. Select one or more connected appliances.
    3. Click Configure Connection Settings.
      The Appliance Connection Settings panel appears.
    4. Select the Direct connection method.
    5. Select Use a Service Gateway as the service source and select the Service Gateway to use as the source.
    6. Click Apply to apply the settings to the selected Deep Discovery Inspector appliances.
