You can configure LDAP settings in Deep Discovery Email Inspector to allow users to manage quarantined messages and approved senders list for shared mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange Server.

Procedure

  1. In Microsoft Exchange Server, configure the following attributes for shared mailbox access:
    • msExchDelegateListLink
    • msExchDelegateListBL
    For more information, see the documentation that comes your version of Microsoft Exchange Server.
  2. Access the Deep Discovery Email Inspector web console and configure an LDAP server.
    For more information, see Configuring an LDAP Server.
  3. On the Add LDAP Server or Edit LDAP server screen, select Sync Exchange Server attributes to set Active Directory to synchronize the following attributes with Microsoft Exchange Server:
    • msExchDelegateListLink
    • msExchDelegateListBL
    • msExchRecipientTypeDetails
  4. Configure other LDAP-related settings and click Save.
  5. To verify that attribute synchronization is successful, check that no error log is generated in the syslog.
  6. On the EUQ console, select an email account from the drop-down list to manage quarantined messages and the approved senders list for shared mailboxes.
