The Deep Discovery Director (Internal
Network Analytics Version)
preconfiguration console is a terminal communications program used to configure the
network and
system settings that are required to access the Deep Discovery Director (Internal
Network Analytics Version) management console.
The preconfiguration console also supports recovery operations if the management
console is not available.
Use the preconfiguration console to do the following:

Configure IPv4 network settings

Ping a remote host to verify configuration

Manage user accounts
-
Manage SSH access

Perform diagnostic tests
