Updates to Deep Discovery Director - Network
Analytics appliances are managed by Deep Discovery
Director. To perform an update or to apply a hotfix or
patch, you must upload the firmware or patch/hotfix on Deep Discovery
Director, create a plan, and execute the plan with the
appliance as a target.
Ensure that you have finished all management console tasks before executing
upgrades. The upgrade process may take some time to complete. Trend Micro recommends starting the update during
off-peak office hours. Installing the update restarts the appliance.
In addition, when you make modifications to certain settings on the appliance, you
must synchronize those modifications to Deep Discovery
