Views:
The Usage column on the policy rules page displays total usage for that policy rule.
Usage data is shown only if all gateways in the company are Cloud Edge 6.0 or later gateways; otherwise, the Usage column is hidden.
Click on the usage number to see a summary of usage statistics:
  • Bytes
  • Hit Count
  • First hit
  • Most recent hit
Gateways send usage data for the policy to Cloud Edge Cloud Console every minute. Cloud Edge merges the data and show only usage data of the last 30 days in the Policy Rules page.
You can see details about usage at the following locations:
  • To see details about the usage size, go to:
    Analysis & Reports → LOG ANALYSIS → Application Bandwidth and look under the Policy Name section.
  • To see details about the usage count and hit times, go to:
    Analysis & Reports → LOG ANALYSIS → Internet Access and look under the Policy Name section.

The Policy Name section in the Application Bandwidth page and Internet Access pages exist only when gateways in the company are all Cloud Edge 6.0 or later gateways.
Usage data is not reset when a user modifies or deletes a policy rule or if a gateway is removed from the policy rule. Cloud Edge Cloud Console always retains the latest 30 days of data.
