You can use security profiles to configure advanced security in addition to the
security provided by policy rules. Security profiles are assigned to a gateway device.
By
default, policy rules inherit the gateway security profile.
You can optionally control how certain portions a security profile (IPS,
Anti-Malware, Email Security, Web Reputation, HTTPS) are applied to specific policy
rules. This
capability is available only for policy rules that apply to a single Cloud Edge 50G2 gateway running
Cloud Edge 6.0 or later or for gateway groups containing
one or more Cloud Edge 50G2 gateways. The Security Profiles section is not available if all gateways chosen for the policy
rule are standard/G3 gateways
running Cloud Edge 5.x or
earlier.
Each gateway security profile contains the following specific security
profiles:
-
You cannot mange how the anti-DoS profile is applied for a policy rule. It is inherited by all policy rules.
-
You cannot manage how the endpoint identification profile is applied for a policy rule. It is inherited by all policy rules.
