Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) is a
software approach managing Wide-Area Networks, which offers ease of deployment, central
manageability and reduced costs, and it can improve connectivity to the Internet and
the
cloud.
A key application of SD-WAN is to allow companies to build higher-performance WANs
using lower-cost and commercially available Internet access, enabling businesses to
partially or
wholly replace more expensive private WAN connection technologies such as MPLS.
In order to fully utilize SD-WAN function, users need to make changes to their
network topology and perform configuration in CE On-Premises UI.
Cloud Edge WAN supports three modes: PPPoE, DHCP, and Static. If you want to
enable SD-WAN, you need to have two WAN links (WAN1 and WAN2/LAN1) ready. See the
