Purpose: Schedule updates to ensure that Cloud Edge provides security from the latest threats. Trend Micro frequently releases new versions of the virus pattern and spyware pattern in response to newly identified risks.

Location: Administration > Scheduled Updates

  1. Click On to enable scheduled updates.

    • Component Updates

    • Firmware Updates

  2. Select the frequency to run the update.
    Note:

    When selecting the frequency, the time specified to run the scheduled update is the local time on the Cloud Edge appliance.

  3. Click Save.
  4. Wait several minutes for the updates to take effect.
  5. Click Deploy All to make changes effective.
