Procedure
- Click the Settings button (
) on the
main console. - On the Protection tab, select Mail Scan from the drop-down menu.
- Enable Scan POP3 mail messages and attachments as they are downloaded from the mail server.
- Select the action that the Security Agent takes after detecting an infected
message.

Clean: The Security Agent attempts to clean the infected message.

Delete: The Security Agent permanently deletes the message before it reaches the user's mailbox.

Pass: The Security Agent logs the detection but does not take action on the message.

- Select Clean/Delete infected files within compressed files to have the Security Agent scan compressed attachments and attempt to clean any infected files detected. The Security Agent deletes files that are uncleanable.
- Click OK.
