Security Agent
The Security Agent program provides the actual protection from security risks.
Basecamp
In order to optimize security and provide better support, Trend Micro recommends that you allow Basecamp to periodically collect basic endpoint information.
Important
Important
You must agree to the collection of data before Basecamp can begin sending any data to Trend Micro.
Because Basecamp requires an Internet connection, you may need to configure additional firewall settings.
  • File name: EndpointBasecamp.exe
  • Installation path: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp

After an official product release, Trend Micro often develops the following to address issues, enhance product performance, or add new features:

All releases include a readme file that contains installation, deployment, and configuration information. Read the readme file carefully before performing installation.
