Procedure

  1. Copy the following files to the target endpoint:
    • apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe
    • InstCfg.ini
  2. Open Command Prompt on the target endpoint and navigate to the directory where the installation package is located.
  3. Type the following:
    apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe /quiet /InstCfg -f1"<INI_path>\InstCfg.ini" /log -f2"<log_path>\setup.log"
    For example: C:\apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe /quiet /InstCfg "C:\Apex One Installer\InstCfg.ini" /log "C:\Apex One Installer\apexone-sp1-win-2025.log"
    Where:
    • /quite: Triggers Setup to perform a silent installation
    • /InstCfg "<INI_path>\InstCfg.ini": Location of the response file. If the path contains spaces, enclose the path with quotes ("). For example, -f1"C:\Apex One Installer\InstCfg.ini".
    • /log "<log_path>\setup.log": Location of the log file that Setup will create after installation. If the path contains spaces, enclose the path with quotes ("). For example, -f2"C:\osce log\apexone-sp1-win-2025.log".
    • By default, the system saves the log file in the %temp% folder.
  4. Press ENTER.
Setup silently installs the server to the endpoint.
  5. To determine if installation was successful:
    • Check the Trend Micro Apex One program shortcuts on the target endpoint. If the shortcuts are not available, retry the installation.
    • Log on to the Trend Micro Apex One web console.
