This procedure does not install Trend Micro Apex One. It only records Setup configuration to a response file.

Procedure

  1. Download the following file to the target endpoint.
    apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe
  2. Open Command Prompt on the target endpoint and navigate to the directory where the file is located.
    For example: "cd C:\Apex One Installer\apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe".
  3. Type the following:
    apexone-sp1-win-en-2025-bxxxxx.exe /record
    Where:
    /record: Triggers Setup to launch and record the installation details to a response file.
  4. Perform the installation steps in Setup.
  5. After completing the installation, check that the InstCfg.ini file is in the same directory.
