Important
Suspending the Managed Detection and Response Service stops the receipt of new investigation tasks and the sending of logs to the Threat Investigation Center server. Trend Micro Apex Central does not cancel any ongoing tasks and the results are still sent to the Threat Investigation Center server.

Procedure

  1. Go to Response → Managed Detection and Response.
    The Managed Detection and Response screen appears.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. To suspend the Managed Detection and Response Service:
    1. Click Suspend Service.
    2. On the confirmation dialog that appears:
      • Click Suspend Service to suspend the Managed Detection and Response Service.
      • Click Cancel to return to the Settings screen without suspending the Managed Detection and Response Service.
  4. To resume the Managed Detection and Response Service, click Resume Service.
    Trend Micro Apex Central resumes the receipt of new investigation tasks and the sending of logs to the Threat Investigation Center server.
