The User Accounts screen provides a list of all previously configured user accounts for the Apex Central as a Service console. You can use this screen to set up user account and a particular role to each user.

The following table outlines the tasks available on the User Accounts screen.

Description
Add user accounts
Click Add to set up a new user account or import users or groups from an integrated Active Directory structure.

Apex Central as a Service allows you to create user accounts for users and groups from an integrated Active Directory structure.

Delete user accounts
Select the check box next the User/Group Name of an existing account and click Delete to permanently remove an account.

Deleting an account permanently removes all previously configured account information from the Apex Central as a Service server.
Enable two-factor authentication
Click the Enable Two-Factor Authentication link to require users to type the verification code generated by the Google Authenticator app in order to sign in to Apex Central as a Service.
Disable two-factor authentication
Click the Disable Two-Factor Authentication link to only require the use of a valid user account and password to sign in to Apex Central as a Service.
Edit user accounts
Click the User/Group Name of a user account to edit the user information.

Unlock user accounts
Click the Unlock button in the Locked column to unlock an account that exceeded the specified number of consecutive unsuccessful logon attempts.

Enable user accounts
Click the user-account-disable.jpg icon in the Enable column to enable a disabled account to sign in to the Apex Central as a Service console.

Disable user accounts
Click the user-account-enable-.jpg icon in the Enable column to temporarily prevent a user from signing in to the Apex Central as a Service console.

  • Apex Central as a Service cannot disable accounts for Active Directory users or groups. To disable an Active Directory account, you must disable the account from the Active Directory server.
