Use the web installer to check the compatibility of the target endpoints
(including system requirements and conflicting applications) before automatically
downloading and installing the Security Agent package from TrendAI™ servers.
NoteThe web installer only supports Windows endpoints.

Procedure
- Go to .
- Select a Windows operating system.
- Select Full feature set for the installation mode.
- Select Web installer for the package type.
- Click one of the following deployment options:
- Download Installer: Click to download the installer and copy to the target endpoint.
- Get Download Link: Click to obtain a URL that you can send to users to download the installer directly on the target endpoint.
- On the target endpoint, execute the
EndpointBasecamp.exeinstaller.The tool takes the following actions:-
Checks the system resources on the endpoint and attempts to locate conflicting applications and sends the data to TrendAI™ support for analysis

Important
If the endpoint does not pass the environment check, Trend Micro Apex Central logs the unsuccessful attempt in the Tracked Endpoints view on the User/Endpoint Directory screen.For more information, see User/Endpoint Directory. -
After passing the environment check, the tool automatically downloads the Security Agent package.

After the download completes, the Security Agent installation automatically begins and the tool sends the installation results to TrendAI™ support.

Important
If the endpoint is unable to successfully install the Security Agent, Trend Micro Apex Central logs the unsuccessful attempt in the Tracked Endpoints view on the User/Endpoint Directory screen.For more information, see User/Endpoint Directory.
TrendAI™ collects the endpoint and installation data to constantly update the Security Agent installation process and quickly respond to installation issues without you needing to open a support case. You can attempt to retry the Security Agent installation periodically to see if a solution to an installation error exists. -
