Why doesn't the Privacy Scanner appear in Facebook or Twitter?
You must enable the Trend Micro Toolbar before using the Privacy Scanner.

You must stay signed into Facebook, Twitter™, or LinkedIn for Privacy Scanner to work. How you do that depends on the website. You also must not close the tab that the Privacy Scanner automatically opens.
Note:
If you close the browser tab opened by the Privacy Scanner before it has finished making changes, then it cannot change your privacy settings.
Choosing "Keep me logged in" with Facebook
- Log out of Facebook.
- When the Log in window appears, mark the Keep me logged in checkbox.
- Provide your Facebook credentials, and then click Log In.
Choosing "Remember me" with Twitter
- Sign out of Twitter.
- At the Sign in window, mark the Remember me checkbox.
- Provide your Twitter credentials, and then click Sign in.
Why did I get the error "Something Went Wrong"?
This error message appears if something unexpected happens. To solve the problem:

Make sure that your computer can connect to the Internet.

Do not close any browser tabs opened by the Privacy Scanner until it has finished.
