January 29, 2026—You can now create custom widgets directly from your XDR Data Explorer
search results. This allows you to turn search queries into an actionable visualizations
to help identify trends, compare patterns, and monitor key indicators without leaving
the investigation workflow. By converting search results into widgets, you can build
dashboards tailored to your reporting, threat hunting, and operational needs.
After running a query in XDR Data Explorer, click the Custom Widget icon (
) to open the Custom Widget Builder. Configure your data settings including aggregation
functions (Count, Sum, Average, Min, Max, Distinct Count), grouping methods (by field,
time binning, or both), and result display options. Available chart types include
bar charts, pie charts, line charts, time series charts, and tables, depending on
your grouping method.
