You can configure vulnerability scans with or without authentication credentials. Authenticated vulnerability scans discover
and assess the network devices that use the provided authentication credentials. Unauthenticated
vulnerability scans discover and assess network-accessible services for vulnerabilities.
Only the services of supported products can be assessed in unauthenticated vulnerability
scans.
