Real-time Scan scans files in real time just before files are opened, saved, or downloaded. If Trend Micro™ Security (for Macintosh) detects no malware, users can proceed to open, save, or download the file. If Show notification when Real-time Scan detects malware is selected on the Preference screen, Security (for Macintosh) displays a notification message when malware is detected.
