Adding a Notification Template Parent topic

Procedure

  1. On the Central Management Console Administration > Notifications > System Notifications tab, click Add Notification.
    The Notification Settings page appears.
  2. Provide a name (required) and description.
You can identify your notification based on its name. It will be faster and easier for you to identify and pick a notification from the list.
  3. Type the email address(es) of person(s) who will receive the notifications. Use a semicolon (;) to separate multiple email addresses.
  4. Specify the email subject, header, contents, and footer.
These predefined values sort of become your notification template.
  5. Select the condition(s) that will trigger SecureCloud to send a notification.
    • To replace the default message that comes with each condition, type a new message in the text box.
    • To use a variable in the message, place the cursor in the desired position in the text, click Insert Variable, and then choose the appropriate variable.

  7. Specify the frequency when SecureCloud sends consolidated or single email notifications.
A consolidated notification is an email that contains all issued notifications.
  8. Click Save.
The new notification appears in the Notifications page.
