Notifications Parent topic

SecureCloud can issue Central Management Console-based a single or consolidated notifications for the following system attributes:
  • Server disk space status
  • Database size
  • Database connection status
  • Storage device encryption status
  • Key or Deep Security Manager server cannot be reached

From the Notifications page, you can sort the available notifications based on its Name, Description, Recipients, or Last Modified Date.
The Central Management Console Administration > Notifications page allows you to complete the following tasks:
  • Manage your notification templates—notification recipients, conditions/events that trigger SecureCloud to send a notification based on a specific frequency
  • Specify the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) settings—connection settings necessary for sending email notifications and SNMP alerts

    These settings must be present. Otherwise, your configured notifications will not be sent.
