Scan-related Privileges

Users with scan privileges have greater control over how files on their computers get scanned.

Scan privileges allow users to perform the following tasks:

• Configure Manual Scan, Scheduled Scan, and Real-time Scan settings. For details, see Scan Privileges.

• Postpone, stop, or skip Scheduled Scan. For details, see Scheduled Scan Privileges.

• Enable scanning of Microsoft Outlook and POP3 email messages for virus/malware. For details, see Mail Scan Privileges.
