Automatically use credits by enabling Private Access, Internet Access, AI Secure Access, or any combination of them.

Zero Trust Secure Access requires credits for each of your authenticated users. You can enable Private Access and Internet Access, including AI Secure Access, individually, but you cannot assign different users to each service. Credits are assigned to all authenticated users automatically after you enable a feature.
Gain control over your users' access to internal applications, the internet, and generative AI services by enabling Private Access, Internet Access, and AI Secure Access. The following are the monthly cost of the various ZTSA services:
  • Private Access: 4.17 credits per user
  • Internet Access: 5 credits per user
  • Sandbox (requires Internet Access): 0.58 credits per user
  • AI Secure Access: 4.17 credits per user
  • Internet Access and AI Secure Access (bundled): 7.08 credits per user
  • Outbound Static IP Address (requires Internet Access or AI Secure Access): 400 credits per 256 Mbps of bandwidth
Data retention period: 180 days
Your credit usage is calculated based on enabled services and user count. Credit usage is adjusted daily. The daily usage number is sent to the credit application, which calculates the monthly peak. ZTSA uses this monthly peak to display the usage and credits numbers in the Usage drawer.

When determining the user count, your credit drawdown for the month corresponds to the daily snapshot with the highest usage, excluding the highest 15% of outlier snapshots. As a result, your estimated credit drawdown might change throughout the month.
  • Your user count for Private Access is the number of authenticated user accounts.
  • Your user count for Internet Access and AI Secure Access is calculated by adding the following:
      • Total authenticated user accounts
      • Total private IP addresses bypassing authentication
      • Total vCPUs allocated to corresponding Service Gateways running on-premises gateway services with specific configurations (One vCPU is equivalent to 75 users)
  • Your user count for Sandbox Analysis is your Internet Access user count.
  • Your credit usage for Outbound Static IP (Internet Access and AI Secure Access) is calculated based on the total amount of bandwidth of the selected regions.

To see the latest estimated credit drawdown for individual solutions, go to Platform Usage and Credits → Usage management → Usage details and find the specific package in the table.
