Find the UUID for a Windows-based resource to assist with remediation when malware is detected by Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection.

Universally unique identifiers (UUIDs) are used to help identify partitions related to malware detections by Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection. You may use the UUID to search for more information about the detection, such as the location of the malware, in the Search app. To find the UUID for a Windows-based resource:

Procedure

  1. Log into the device.
  2. Open a CLI as an administrator.
  3. Type the following command:
    wimc path win32_computersystemproduct get UUID
