The following are the requirements for installing the Apex One (Mac) server:

  • 7GB minimum if the OfficeScan server is installed on the system drive (usually, C: drive)

  • 5GB minimum if the Apex One server is installed on the system drive (usually, C: drive)

  • If the OfficeScan or Apex One server is not installed on the system drive:

    • 7GB minimum on the drive where the OfficeScan server is installed. The Apex One (Mac) server will be installed on this drive.

    • 5GB minimum on the drive where the Apex One server is installed. The Apex One (Mac) server will be installed on this drive.

    • 7GB minimum on the system drive. Third-party programs used by the Apex One (Mac) server will be installed on this drive.

Others

  • Microsoft™ .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.6.1

  • Microsoft Windows™ Installer 3.1 and above

  • The following third-party programs will be installed automatically, if it does not exist:

    • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express, 2016 Express, or 2016 SP1 Express

    • Apache™ ActiveMQ 5.15.4

    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable

Note:
  • Java runtime environment (JRE) installation is required when you install Apex One (Mac) on an OfficeScan server.

  • For best performance, install JRE 1.8 or later. Install JRE for Windows x86 or JRE for Windows x64, depending on the operating system of the host machine.
