Under the Novell NetWare environment, there are two ways to remove a Normal Server:
To remove a Normal Server remotely under NetWare:
  • Select the Normal Servers intended for removal from the Management Console.
  • From the main menu, navigate from DomainUninstall ServerProtect.
To remove a Normal Server locally under NetWare:
There are two ways to locally uninstall a ServerProtect Normal Server Service from Novell™ NetWare™ environment:
  • To uninstall ServerProtect NetWare server(s) from the Management Console:
    1. Select the servers from the console.
    2. Select DomainUninstall ServerProtect from the main menu. All selected servers will be remotely uninstalled.
  • To manually uninstall NetWare Normal Server(s):
    1. Press the ESC key on the keyboard then click Yes to unload the ServerProtect modules on the ServerProtect monitor screen.
    2. Delete the following using the NetWare client for Windows:
      SYS:SYSTEM\SPNW.NCF
      SYS:LOGIN\SPROTECT
      <Volume>: Sprotect directory
    3. Delete the following registry contents from the ServerProtect Information Server:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Trend Micro\ServerProtect\CurrentVersion\InformationServer\(the target ServerProtect Normal Server)
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Trend Micro\ServerProtect\CurrentVersion\NW\(the target ServerProtect Normal Server)
